About Us

The Ghost Note was established by Tyler Wright, a Jazz musician and enthusiast who loves to play the saxophone and will play on occasion in the restaurant. Ty was born and raised in New Orleans and always wanted to start a restaurant and music venue to share his love of Jazz music and great Authentic New Orleans food. Ty started the restaurant in 1998 and since then has thrived and made a name for himself and his establishment in the city. Ty loves his restaurant and his customers and will do his best to provide the best Jazz and restaurant experience possible.

The People

The Ghost Note employs some of the best most friendly staff around. We love to hire college students and have very flexible schedules for them Our bar tenders serve some of the best drinks around and will always be happy to serve.

Our waitresses are great friendly people who enjoy making our customers happy and entertained and is one of the big reasons our customers come back for more.

The Food

All our ingredients and are bought fresh daily and we buy locally grown produce from the markets around the city. We also pride ourselves for using meats from livestock that are not fed chemicals or steroids. This is what makes our gumbo so fresh and recently ranked number 2 in the city!
